QSC RMX2450A Low-Z Power Amplifier - 800-Watt per Channel

The QSC RMX2450a Low-Z Power Amplifier is a 2RU rack-mountable amplifier designed for live sound reinforcement applications, delivering 750 watts per channel at 4Ω. This powerful amplifier features two 2-tier Class H output channels that can operate in either stereo or mono bridge mode.

Utilizing a standard 15-amp plug, the amplifier employs high-current toroidal transformers, which contribute to reduced noise and enhanced performance when driving a 2-ohm load. To minimize distortion, the amplifier incorporates independent user-defeatable clip limiters and includes LED indicator lights to signal the presence of the signal and any clipping occurrences.

The amplifier's chassis is designed with front-to-rear cooling vents and offers selectable low-frequency filters at 30 Hz and 50 Hz. These filters help protect speakers from bottoming out and improve headroom when driving mid and high frequencies.

Accessibility is a key feature of the QSC RMX2450a, with two gain control knobs conveniently located on the front panel. Each channel is also protected by dedicated DC and thermal overload protection circuits.

The rear of the unit provides both balanced 1/4" and XLR inputs, as well as Neutrik Speakon and touch-proof binding post connections for outputs.

In addition to its impressive 750-watt per channel capabilities at 4Ω, the amplifier can also operate in a bridgeable mono mode, delivering a remarkable 2400 watts. Four LED indicators on the front panel clearly display the power, signal, and clip status for easy monitoring.
